Proceeds Benefit The Arc of Warren County
Washington, N.J., March 15, 2022 – Members of the community are invited to an Easter Egg Hunt at 12 p.m. on April 16, 2022 at Riverfront Park, which is located at 213 Seber Road in Hackettstown. This event is presented by The Hackettstown High School Key Club, the Hackettstown BID and the Centenary University Alumni Association Executive Board. Donations to participate in the event support The Arc of Warren County. The rain date for this event is April 23, 2022.
This event has evolved as part of a longstanding tradition of Hackettstown High School Key Club’s support of The Agency. For over 20 years, The Key Club ran The Arc of Warren County Mini-Carnival at Hackettstown High School. The Easter Egg Hunt is a new event that the Hackettstown High School Key Club will be holding to benefit The Arc of Warren County. This is the first time that the Hackettstown BID and the Centenary University Alumni Association Executive Board have collaborated on an event to support The Arc of Warren County.
The event will include live music, games, food, drinks, crafts, prizes and more. Ages 3 to 8 will have their hunt at 12:45 p.m. Ages 9 and older will engage in the hunt at 2 p.m. Pre-registration is required and can be found on hackettstownbid.com. Registrants must bring a copy of the registration on the event date. Registration will close at 200 participants. Please plan to register by April 10.
“The members of The Arc of Warren County community and myself are thankful for the dedication that the High School Key Club has had for our organization for so many years,” says John Whitehead, CEO of The Arc of Warren County. “We are pleased to have the opportunity to continue to work together in this capacity. In addition, we are so grateful that the Hackettstown BID and Centenary University Alumni Association Executive Board will also be supporting The Arc of Warren County in this manner. It should prove to be a fun, inexpensive day for families while also supporting the individuals who receive services from The Agency.”
In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt, there will be an Easter Bonnet Contest at 1:30 p.m. where winners can earn Hackettstown BID bucks. Participants must wear a homemade bonnet. The Hackettstown High School Key Club will also sell baked goods and those proceeds will benefit The Key Club.
